Korean lettuce wraps (ssambap)

Essentially, ssambap means rice wrapped in leaves. These leaves can be any edible leaves that are fresh or lightly steamed, and also that are large enough to wrap rice and condiments. Wrapping the meat in lettuce, often with a little rice and kimchi, is simply a yummy way to get more flavors in your mouth at once! It's like making meat and lettuce tacos or burritos.
